I am a cake decorator from the South East of England. My journey into cake making and decorating only started during the March 2020 Covid-19 lockdown and what started off as stress baking has become such an important part of my life. I have always loved creating things with my hands and I am an unrepentant perfectionist, spending hours working on something until it looks as close to perfect as I can get it, obsessing over the little details. 

Having loved studying art and history and I think in my past life I had been born during either the Grand Siècle or the Rococo period. I take inspiration from structural architecture, art and decor from these periods. You’ll see gold/silver filigree, cherubs and other similar themes throughout my signature cake designs. A personal highlight from the year 2023 is having finally visited Chàteau de Versailles. I will occasionally venture into modern styles with straight lines, geometrics and playful embellishments like sequins (edible) and sails (chocolate, sugar). 

Having worked in the corporate space for nearly a decade fighting financial crime, I made the decision to close that chapter of my life in pursuit of making memories for people through cake and confections and every new commission is a chance for me to do something I love and meet new people. I am naturally an introvert but you wouldn’t know this if you met me as I’m also a big goof ball and incurably sarcastic. When I’m not working, Im probably binging on an Audible book or chasing after any one of my 3 kids.
